We’ve launched a Youth Safety Taskforce to help young people stay safe in Camden and examine the underlying causes of youth violence.
Camden has seen an eight per cent rise in knife crime with injuries in the last year, according to the latest official crime figures, with young people often the victims of violent crime. While this is well below the London-wide increase, the Camden Youth Safety Taskforce has been set up to help us understand, prevent and ultimately reduce violence amongst young people, including knife crime, in the borough.
We are keen to hear from young people themselves but also young adults, local parents and professionals who work with young people, as well as other interested residents.
