Market consultation on proposed tender of mental health a supported living contract
Overview
LB Camden is consulting on proposals to tender a nine place supported living service that is staffed 24 hours a day. The service would provide accommodation and support to people with complex mental health needs.
The provider service would work with clients to draw up a recovery and outcome orientated support plan. All support plans and associated support work would consider (as a minimum), needs / risks / agreed outcomes and the measurement of progress in the following areas:
- management of mental health, including psychotic symptoms, psychological distress and medicine compliance
- physical health, hygiene and self-care, appropriate use of primary and community health care
- living and domestic skills, including budgeting, care of possessions, shopping, food preparation, cleaning, hazard awareness, and similar
- social networks and taking part in activities, including relationships with family, friends, children and partners, consideration for others, and not being lonely
- vocational activities, including work, volunteering, education and training
- addictive behaviour, including use of alcohol / drugs and risk taking behaviour
- financial responsibilities, including rent and bills
- behaviour, staying safe and avoiding trouble that may lead to harm and / or police action
