Holborn day-to-day repairs change
Overview
Have your say about the day-to-day repairs in the Holborn housing district Since 2013, the day-to-day housing repairs in the Holborn housing district have been carried out by our contractor Wates. Day-to-day repairs include general maintenance of your home or communal areas like stairwells or hallways. This includes plumbing, electrical issues or repairs to your kitchen and bathroom. Holborn is the only district where this is the case. In the other four districts in Camden these repairs are carried out by specialist contractors and directly employed council staff. As part of the ongoing review of the efficiency and effectiveness of the services Camden provides and commissions, we have reviewed the Wates contract and at the end of the current contract we intend to take over responsibility for repairs – like in our other districts. We intend to take over management of repairs in the Holborn housing district from 1 April 2019. We would like to hear your views on the service to date and how we can improve the service going forward. This webpage closes at midnight on 31 March. If you have any specific questions you would like to discuss directly, or require a hard copy or easy read version of this survey, please email holbornrepairs@camden.gov.uk. |
