Register to join Camden's Evening and Night Time Citizens' Assembly

Closes 16 Jan 2023

Opened 22 Nov 2022

Camden Council is inviting residents to join a Citizens' Assembly about Camden's Evening and Night Time.

A Citizens’ Assembly is a way of involving a diverse group of citizens, and in this instance, people running a business in Camden, who are selected at random, to learn about, deliberate upon, and make recommendations in relation to a particular issue or set of issues. These people are called ‘participants’.

What will the Assembly do?

Participants will develop a vision for the future of Camden’s evening and night time and make recommendations about how the Council, businesses and Camden’s communities could achieve this vision.

When is it?

The Evening and Night Time Citizens' Assembly will happen across three dates:

  • Saturday 18 February 2023
  • Saturday 25 February 2023
  • Saturday 4 March 2023

The Citizens’ Assembly will be held from approximately 9:30am – 4:30pm on each date at an accessible venue in Camden.

Selecting participants

No experience or prior knowledge of the subject is needed. The Citizens' Assembly is about giving people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences the opportunity to get involved.

Participants will be selected, at random, from the group of people who register their interest in joining the Citizens’ Assembly. Please use the link at the bottom of this page to register your interest. It should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

To make sure there is a broadly representative group of participants in the Citizens’ Assembly, we will use demographic data for Camden as a guide.
