Local list selection criteria

Overview

We are seeking your views on the local list draft selection criteria that we will use to assess all nominations for Camden’s Local List. The selection criteria will also be used by people to justify their nominations.

The draft Selection Critieria includes all the details the council and selection panel will take into account when making their assesment of nominations.

We have produced the draft Selection Criteria in line with English Heritage’s guidance “Good practice guide for local heritage listing” (May 2012).
 

Why your views matter

We want your views on whether the draft selection criteria meets the aim of being wide ranging enough to allow for the recognition of a wide range of buildings features and places, but also specific enough so that it allows for rigorous and consistent assessment of any nominated assets.

The consultation period on the draft selection criteria runs from 5th July to 30th September 2012.
