Well Walk, Proposed resident's bay relocation and removal

Closed 25 Nov 2016

Opened 22 Oct 2016

Overview

The London Borough of Camden is proposing to introduce double yellow lines along Well Walk to address concerns raised by emergency vehicles and the council vehicles. The issue is worse particularly outside No 20 where the carriageway narrows down to 2.1 metres when vehicles are parked on both sides of the street.

The council are proposing to introduce double yellow lines with loading and waiting ban outside No 20 Well Walk to adress this.

To accomplish this, the council is proposing to convert two resident parking bays (10 metres) into double yellow lines with a loading and waiting ban outside No 20 Well Walk.

To compensate for this loss we can relocate one space to Willow Road where 5 metres of double yellow lines will be converted into one resident bay. There will unfortunately be a loss of one resident parking bay as we cannot find a suitable alternative in the neighbouring streets.
