Overview
The council consulted on its proposal to introduce improvements on West End Lane, including a 20mph limit which will be put in place between Quex Road and Fortune Green Road.
Some of the streets in the West Hampstead area appear to have a poor accident record compared to other streets and it is for this reason that the council is proposing a 20mph limit to be introduced along West End Lane.
The consultation period ended on 11 November 2011 and the results of the consultation are expected in the first week of December 2011.
Why your views matter
We are consulting in order to find out your views on the proposed works and we would like to know if you will be affected in any of the following ways:
- access to your property during the proposed improvement works
- access to your property due to the proposed permanent measures
- waiting and loading requirements during the works for deliveries, etc.
What happens next
Subject to the outcome of the consultation, and funding being available (from Transport for London), the proposed works will be carried out between December 2011 and March 2012.
