HASC Scrutiny Tenant Participation Survey

Overview

Last year we set up a Scrutiny panel to look at the tenant participation service we offer our residents. The panel listened to evidence from different sources and made a number of recommendations for improvement. We have now set up a new panel, named the Tenant Participation Panel (TPP), to explore the progress made in this area. The panel will be submitting our final report to the Housing and Adult Social Care Committee in November 2012.

One of the key aims of the panel is to examine how Camden’s new Tenant and Leaseholder Engagement strategy will achieve its aspirations and objectives, improving the area where you live and offering our residents the opportunity to be involved in the decisions governing their homes.

The panel will also focus on how we could improve the Council’s existing resident engagement structure, especially the support provided in establishing and maintaining our Tenant and Residents Associations.
