Overview
What is proposed for 248-250 Camden Road?
- A simple and elegant contemporary building which contributes positively to Camden Square Conservation Area.
- 39 new high quality temporary accommodation homes for homeless families including 36 studios, 3x 1-bed homes and 1x 1-bed wheelchair accessible home.
- A secure lobby connected to open plan staff facilities.
- An improved welcoming front garden with cycle storage and one accessible parking space in which the existing mature street trees are retained.
- A soft landscaped private rear garden with seating and play areas including a discrete flexible community room nestled within the garden.
- Reduced construction time by using offsite construction.

Why your views matter
The purpose of this consultation is to update residents who live and work close to the Camden Road hostel on the progress of the project and to gather feedback and ideas from local people. This consultation follows an earlier round of consultation held on July 11th 2019.
This consultation will be open until midnight on 26 June 2020
Unfortunately, due to the impacts of the Covid 19 pandemic, we are unable to hold any face-to-face events to display the proposals and our normal response times may be affected.
