Closed 11 Jun 2015

Opened 30 Apr 2015

Overview

Have you say on proposed changes

The Council is consulting on amendments to its planning guidance. Camden Planning Guidance is a set of documents that provides further detail to support the implementation of the Council’s planning policies.

We are proposing changes to CPG8 Planning obligations. The main changes are related to employment and training initiatives, including:

·      Revised triggers for when employment and training initiatives are sought,

·      updated fees for calculating contributions, and

·      new guidance related to local recruitment for construction jobs, construction work experience places, local procurement targets, and the Central London Forward partnership.

We are also proposing a number of other changes throughout the guidance document, including changes relating to the Community Infrastructure Levy,   construction management plans, processing and monitoring fees, and a number of other detailed changes.

For further details and to see the draft documents please visit camden.gov.uk/cpg.

The consultation will finish on 11 June 2015. Please send any responses to planningpolicy@camden.gov.uk.

Please note: that these changes apply to the guidance that adds detailed information on implementing our current planning policy documents: the Local Development Framework Core Strategy and Development Policies. In addition, we are also currently consulting a new suite of planning policies, the Draft Camden Local Plan. Furthermore following adoption of the Local Plan we will consult on a revised set of Camden Planning Guidance documents. For further details on this please visit: camden.gov.uk/localplan
