Hatton Garden Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan
Overview
Camden has prepared a new and updated draft Hatton Garden Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Strategy to replace the 1999 version. The existing version is one of the oldest and in need of bringing in line with other planning guidance.
The appraisal and management strategy defines and analyses what makes the Hatton Garden conservation area 'special' and provides important information to local residents, community groups, businesses, property owners, architects and developers about the types of alterations and development that are likely to be acceptable or unacceptable in the conservation area.
Why your views matter
We are seeking your views and comments on the new draft document.
We will be hosting a public event which you can where you can drop in and ask any questions.
What happens next
We will review all comments made and anticipate adopting the final document as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) in the summer of 2017. SPDs build upon the policies in the local plan providing more detailed advice and guidance.
