Kilburn Neighbourhood Planning Area and Forum applications

Closed 15 Apr 2016

Opened 3 Mar 2016

Overview

The emerging Kilburn neighbourhood forum has applied jointly to Camden and Brent councils to set the boundary of their neighbourhood area and to be formally designated as a neighbourhood forum, in accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations . The proposed neighbourhood area falls within both Camden and Brent boroughs.

Why your views matter

The Council is now seeking views and comments on the applications from residents and other interested stakeholders.  All responses must be submitted by 15 April 2016 by email to planningpolicy@camden.gov.uk or post to:

Strategic Planning and Implementation Team

If both councils approve the applications, the Kilburn Neighbourhood Forum will be able to prepare a neighbourhood plan for their neighbourhood area.

Once a neighbourhood plan has passed through the statutory processes and is adopted, it will be used, alongside both boroughs’ own planning policy documents, to make decisions on planning applications in the designated neighbourhood area.
