Regis Road Regeneration Strategy

Closed 23 Feb 2023

Opened 25 Jan 2023

Overview

The Council is moving forward with the Regeneration Strategy for Regis Road. We are running a consultation with residents of 76 and 78 Holmes Road from now until Monday 13th February 2023.

The Regeneration Strategy includes the Council’s land at the Recycling Centre and Car Pound on Regis Road and the Holmes Road Depot including the flats at 76 and 78 Holmes Road.

As a resident, your views are important to us. Whilst we are in an early phase in the process of the Regis Road Regeneration Strategy, no decisions have been made yet and there are many more stages to go through to develop the proposals.  We want to involve residents from the outset and we want to hear what you think.

We would like you to tell us about your household, your property, and your views about where you live.

Please see the information for secure tenants or leaseholders below and further down this page, details to find out more about the strategy and to give us your views.

Why your views matter

We are inviting each household of the flats at 76 and 78 Holmes Road to arrange a one-to-one session with Council officers. The purpose of this engagement is to:

  • Inform you about the regeneration and what it could mean for you
  • To give you the opportunity to make your views known to the Council
  • To find out more about you and your views about the strategy

At the session, Council officers will take notes of your feedback.

If you are unable to have a one-to-one session with us you can give us your feedback by filling out the online survey at the end of this page.

If you have had a one-to-one session with us and would like to tell us anything more you can also fill out ths online survey and we will include this with what you have already told us.

The consultation will close on the 13th February 2023.

What happens next

The Council will record and analyse the feedback from the consultation, which will inform the development of the Regeneration Strategy.

The Council expects to make further decisions about the Regeneration Strategy in the near future, including the potential conditional sale of Council land.

If this hapens, it will be the start of a process that will take a number of years.

The Council is committed to working with residents, with on-going engagement
