Why your views matter

The Council proposes to introduce traffic calming by constructing a new raised table. This would need minor parking amendments to accommodate the raised table, but there would not be any overall loss of parking space.
The proposed measures include:

1. A raised table in Whitfield Street at its junction with Howland Street.

2. Removal of existing motorcycle parking bay and extending the existing resident’s bay on Whitfield Street.

3. Conversion of existing resident’s parking bay in Howland Street to a motorcycle only parking bay.
