Central government is proposing to change the way people pay for their care and support.

The proposals set out in the Care Bill – which is currently going through Parliament – will change the way people pay for, plan and organise their care and support with an emphasis on ensuring there are clear rules about what people are expected to pay and limiting the amount they pay over their lifetime.
