Fortune Green and West Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum has applied to be formally re designated as a Neighbourhood Forum.

Why your views matter

The Fortune Green and West Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum has applied to the Council to be formally re-designated as a neighbourhood forum, in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act (1990) and neighbourhood planning regulations. The Forum was established in 2013 and after 5 years in operation must now re-apply if it is continue to be to formally designated.

Any comments should relate to whether the Forum should be designated as a neighbourhood forum for another five years. This consultation does not relate to the adopted Fortune Green and West Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan.

Comments must be received by 22 February 2019.

What happens next

If the application is agreed, the Fortune Green and West Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum can make modifications to the Neighbourhood Plan for the area or prepare a replacement Plan. A neighbourhood plan is a statutory planning document setting out general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood.  Camden adopted the current Fortune Green and West Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan in 2015.  No changes are being proposed to the designated Neighbourhood Area, which is shown in the application.
