Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025-2030
Overview
We are consulting on a draft of the Camden Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025 – 2030, which is revised on a five yearly basis. This consultation builds on years of engagement and collaboration with our public, voluntary and community sector partners, as well as our work with people with lived experience of homelessness in Camden.
The Draft Strategy can be found below under the "Related" section below. We would also invite you to consider the strategy alongside some additional work carried out by the Homelessness Co-production Team. This can also be found under the "Related" section.
About the Homelessness Co-production Team
The Co-producers are a group of residents with lived experience of homelessness, who have been working with the council and partners over the last three years on a range of projects related to homelessness, as part of Camden’s Homelessness System Partnership. This has included developing our ‘Personal Passport’, mapping our mental health system and sitting on the Board.
To ensure the strategy speaks to the lived experience of homelessness in Camden, the Co-producers collected a range of evidence that could inform the strategy and bring it to life for people engaging with the consultation. This work is owned by the co-producers but we are sharing it on this consultation platform as part of our commitment to centring lived experience throughout this process.
Why your views matter
We want to ensure that everyone who has a stake in this strategy has an opportunity to input their views, so that we can ensure it accurately reflects our shared priorities as a borough, and the actions we need to take to improve the situation over the next five years.
The consultation will be open from 23 June 2025 and will close on 29 September 2025. The consultation findings will inform the final version of the Strategy. A summary of feedback will be published publicly in the final report that goes to Cabinet in 2025. The final version of the Strategy will go to Cabinet and be published in the Autumn and will be active for five years - this means the council and partners will use this as a guide for how to achieve our shared goals.
It is possible that some responses may include difficult feedback - this is welcome and valued. You might like to complete the survey with a support worker, or come along to one of our drop-in sessions where a member of staff can help you fill it in or provide you with a laptop if you do not have one. Please keep an eye on this page for updates on these sessions.
