Tybalds Fire Safety Works

Overview

Camden Council are carrying out fire safety works at Babington Court and Chancellors Court to replace the front entance doors with fire safety doors. This is to ensure that they comply with the current government guidelines. Our contractors, Engie, have worked on a programme to deliver these works safely. Each door will need to be surveyed in the first instance. Each survey will take approximately 1 hour per door. Residents will be given a choice of colours. Engie will be in touch with more information about how to book your appointment shortly.

We will be carrying out regular inspections whilst the works are in progress to monitor the quality and ensure high standards in the delivery of the works.

We have worked with Engie to agree an approach to carry out these works safely taking into account Public Health England (PHE) guidance relating to COVID-19. This includes social distancing, the use of Personal Protective Equipment and washing of hands.

Your safety is paramount to us during these works. Engie are currently finalising their risk assessments and method statements to ensure the safe delivery of the works. Once we have received their submission, made our observations and recommendations and received sign off from PHE regarding the approach to delivery; these works will be deemed as safe to start onsite.

We are keen to hear from you, so we can understand any concerns you may have in relation to the delivery of the works at this time. Where possible concerns will be mitigated within the method statements and we will aim to ensure that concerns raised are replied to.

We will analyse your feedback, passing it on to our contractor for consideration. We will share the final approach, policies and risk assessments with the TRA and works committee to allow you to have peace of mind about the works to your home.
