Abbey Phase 2 - new community buildings

Closed 29 Nov 2019

Opened 18 Oct 2019

Results expected 6 Dec 2019

Feedback expected 13 Dec 2019

Overview

The Abbey Road area is being redeveloped. Phase 1 saw the completion of new council-owned homes and flats for sale.

We are currently consulting on the designs for Phase 2.

New buildings for Abbey Community Centre and Belsize Priory health centre are proposed. These would be built on land next to Casterbridge and Snowman towers, along with improvements to the landscaping and public open space.

Why your views matter

The aim of the consultation is to consider the views of local stakeholders so that the designs can be worked up into a planning application later in the year (possibly December)

We are holding 2 public drop-in events on Thurs 24 October 2pm-8pm and Weds 30 October 4.30pm-8pm in Abbey Community Centre at 222c Belsize Rd NW6 4DJ

The consultation is open until 29 November 2019

What happens next

Your comments will be considered during the design development. We are working towards designs which will become part of a planning application.
