Overview

Landscaping illustrationCamden is preparing to deliver 10 new homes for council rent at the back of Godwin and Crowndale Estate. 

As part of this scheme, Camden has proposed replacing the multi-use game area MUGA with improved amenity space for residents. The council has been working with LUC to engage with local people and find out how they would like to see Godwin Green Space improved. 

More recently, the TMO management committee for the estate has asked the council to consider leaving the grassed area of the estate grounds as it is. Instead the management committee has asked the council to consider to providing the budget for landscape improvements and allowing the committee to determine where best the play, planting or greening could be made. This conversation is ongoing.

An in-person consultation event will be held on the Saturday 21st May at the following location Godwin and Crowndale Community Hall, 82A, Godwin court, Crowndale Rd, London NW1 1NW- From 11am-1pm

An online consultation will run from 16th May to 10th June 2022, link to the questionnaire here

We understand that some people may be disappointed at the loss of the MUGA, especially young people and children. So, we have designed a questionnaire aimed at understanding the needs of young people in the area. Link to it here.

The deadline for giving feedback is Friday 10 June.
