Kentish Town Planning Framework Consultation
Overview
Camden Council has prepared a draft planning framework for Kentish Town. We are running a public consultation on the draft framework from Friday 26 October to Friday 7 December and we want to hear your views.
The public consultation is open to local residents, businesses, workers, community groups, and everyone else who has an interest in the area. All of the information for the consultation including the draft framework document and a summary of the information on the public exhibition boards are avaiable to view on the links below. Why your views matter
This is an important area with the potential for comprehensive redevelopment to create a new employment led mixed use neighbourhood that we expect to deliver a substantial number of new homes, alongside new and reprovided jobs and commercial space.
The Council intends to adopt the final framework as a Supplementary Planning Document. The planning framework is a key tool helping us shape the future of this important area.
In early 2018 we carried out a first stage of public engagement to collect opportunities and ideas for the planning framework area. We have used the feedback from the first stage of engagement to help prepare a draft planning framework.
We are now consulting on the draft planning framework. This is an important stage of consultation and the main opportunity for you to give us your views.

What happens next
The views expressed in the consultation will be published in a report and available on our website at www.camden.gov/kentishtownframework.
We will look at the views and develop a final draft of the framework on the basis of what you have told us. The final draft of the framework will be consulted upon again and be considered by the Council's Members for adoption as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).
