UriLift (Pop-up Urinals) Consultation - Eversholt Street & Chalk Farm

Closed 3 Apr 2017

Opened 13 Mar 2017

Overview

The London Borough of Camden are proposing the installations of a UriLift urinal unit and Urilift “pop up” Male & Female Auto unit in the vicinity of the following locations as indicated by the red dots on the maps below:

Chalk Farm Station/Haverstock Hill

Urilift “pop up” Male & Female Auto unit

Near 157 Regents Park Rd, London, NW1 8BB

Eversholt Street/Mornington Crescent

Urilift “pop up” urinal unit

Near 2 Camden High St, London, NW1 OJH

We are considering installing Uri Lift “pop up” urinal unit (www.urilift.com) in the Regents Parks ward (Mornington Crescent area) and a Urilift “pop up” Male & Female Auto unit (http://urilift.com/pop-up-urinals-toilets/urilift-combi/) in the Camden Town ward (Chalk Farm area). This is in order to prevent people from urinating in public areas and near residents homes, as well as to provide better public conveniences for our night time economy.

These urinals would be underground and not visible during the day. They would be raised on a Friday and Saturday night between 10pm and 4am, with the flexibility to change these hours if required.

We are consulting with all residences in close proximity to these sites as well as a number of other interested stakeholders, over a consultation period of two weeks. This period will run until Monday 3rd April 2017.  I would like to invite you to share your views on this proposal by email, telephone, letter, or online using We Are Camden (wearecamden.org.uk).

Any contributions to the consultation received after Monday 3rd April 2017 will not be considered.
