The Council carried out a consultation on an a proposal to improve cycle permeability in the West Hampstead area, specifically the residential areas to the east and west of the lower half of West End Lane.

The measures proposed include to open up a number of one-way streets such as Priory Road, Canfield Gardens, and others to allow for contra-flow cycling.
