Overview

We are writing to seek your views on the Council’s proposals to convert Camden Mews between Camden Park Road and York Way from a one way street northbound to one way street southbound towards Camden Park Road.

Background

Local residents have informed us via Ward members that they are concerned about the increased number of vehicles that are using this section of Camden Mews as a short cut to access York Way. The concerns relate to safety as this stretch of Camden Mews is a cobbled street with narrow footways and parking on one side; therefore to pass each other vehicles are driving very close to property frontages posing a risk to residents especially children.
