Improving green spaces in areas impacted by HS2 construction

Closes 31 Aug 2019

Opened 18 Mar 2019

Overview

Last year, you shared your ideas with Groundwork for refreshing some of the green spaces in your area. The first sites we want to explore with you are:

  • Tolmer’s Square
  • Augustus House
  • Langdale House
  • Hawkshead
  • Kirkstone
  • Harrington House

Green spaces are important because they can improve health and wellbeing, and the character of an area, as well as creating habitats for wildlife and benefiting the environment.

We would like to find out more from residents about ideas for these spaces which would have the most benefit to local people. We would like to talk with as many residents and community organisations as possible, so pop by one of Groundwork's conversation stalls to share your views.

We are using funding from HS2 to deliver these improvements.

Groundwork are working with Camden to listen to your ideas about what improvements you would like to see in your local green spaces. Please call by our conversation stalls or alternatively please send any comments or questions to greenspaces@groundwork.org.uk.
